VIDEO: LDC students summoned for twerking at Commercial Court

A group of female students at the Law Development Centre (LDC) has been summoned after a video of them twerking in court surfaced online.
They are expected to appear before the LDC Disciplinary Committee on 6th January to answer for their misconduct.
The lawyers recorded themselves twerking to the club banger ‘Tumbiza Sound’ at the Commercial Court premises in Kampala.
The 8 students are Kakidi Ann, Annet Nambafu, Kalungi Hellen, Nabirye Zeridah Mary, Nyinamasiko Gloria, Kyomuhendo Justine, Kamaliza Immaculate, and Basemera Edit.
They were stationed at the Commercial Court where they were undertaking a clerkship program, a mandatory component of the bar course program.
The Courts, being temples of justice are taken in high regard in the law. Thus the bum shaking by the young ladies was condemned by sections of the legal fraternity.
They were tasked to write apology letters to the six members of the Commercial Court in which they promised not to repeat their actions.
