Victoria University halves tuition fees

victoria university acquires new land in naalya to expand

Kampala based Victoria University has cut its tuition fees by half as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

This move is aimed at enabling parents and learners cope with financial restrictions that resulted from the nationwide lockdown as the government sought to control the spread of the pandemic.

This will apply to both continuing and new students from joining in the 2020/21 academic year.

When contacted, Mr Rajiv Ruparelia one of the university directors said that the university management came up with measures to help parents because of being constrained financially by the corona virus pandemic- adding that the student community and the general public will be informed about the new fees structure in due course.
