UMU Nkozi beats MUBS to book a place in University League Semi-Finals

Mubs Nkozi clash

Wednesday’s sunny afternoon saw the Mukono martyrs lock horns with the Nakawa based 2017 finalists in a much anticipated second leg of the University Football league that would see a winner heading straight to the Semi Finals.

This was a return leg after a goalless draw in Nakawa a fortnight ago.

The Martyrs took the lead through a goal from, Ssentongo Robert followed by Mafumbe Masuudi.

All these goals came shortly after MUBS squandered a chance to take lead after Abima Herbert missed a penalty kick.

This defeat means MUBS has been knocked out with Uganda Martyrs Nkozi progressing on to the Semi Finals.

“Those guys in the sports office need to be fired because they are used” shouted a disgruntled and disappointment MUBS student geared up in the infamous red gown.

The Nakawa slayers were surely taught a lesson by the Nkozi focused villagers.
