UCU’s Mr Fresher contesting for MP Business and Finance

Politics in the Christian University has set its horns high as different contestants take on the struggle seriously in the final week of the polls.

Election of candidates from the Mukono based Uganda Christian University will be on this Wednesday on the 25th November which will be done online this time.

Today we bring you UCU’s Mr Fresher Ssemakula Musa who is a first-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Accounting and Finance at the Mukono campus. Currently, he serves as the Finance Minister of the Class Representatives Association and also the Secretary Rotaract Club of UCU.

In an interview with him, Musa describes himself as ” simply friendly and this approachable, confident, persistent in service and forever ready to contribute my time, skills and experience in the creation of the conducive change that students crave ”

Having spent only a year at the University, one may wonder how this young gentlemen is rising into the different leadership levels and now contesting for the office of the Member of Parliament for Business and Finance, Musa is so determined and leadership conscious where he is even a class representative which clearly shows he is worth a leader.

On why he decided to use the slogan ” service above self “, Musa has a well-stated plan in his manifesto where he will see the Business and Finance students settle in a strong association where service delivery would be made simple for the university students where mentors will also be issued out to the fresh university students which will help them go on well with the university challenges.

In his own words, Ssemakula Musa alias Mr. Fresher concludes: ” I am trusting my wealth of experience in working passionately and effortlessly when dealing with concerns brought to me.”
