UCU Students to represent Uganda in Law Moot in Arusha
A team of three Uganda Christian University Law students attended the National Inter-University International Humanitarian (IHL) Law Moot Competition that was organised at the Imperial Royale Hotel on Tuesday.
The team which included Kyoma Phillip, Koelewijm Joy and Ruth Nanjobe emerged as the overrall winners of the competition and will be representing the country in Arusha, Tanzania for the international rounds. It should be noted that the same team won the “CIPIT” Centre For Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law in Kenya last year.
This comes after the team of UCU Law students including Joel Ndyamuhaki, Joel Chemonges and Lynette Kwikiriza Nahwera worn the CEHURD National Moots that were hosted by IUIU-Kabojja Campus last Friday and also produced the best oralist for the competition. This means the university has more and more proved to the public to have the best law school country wide.
