The administration of Uganda Christian University (UCU) recently released a highly awaited update on how exams will be conducted.

The institution’s silence on the matter had angered a section of students, some of whom threatened to protest.

In a memo from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs) to the students, the management reaffirms the need for COVID-19 preparedness.

Examinations for those studying online will be conducted in a restricted and regulated online, open-book, and take-home format.

Furthermore, UCU cautioned those studying online not to set foot on campus.

The modes of submission and examination dates will be communicated by the Faculty Deans.
