UCU Chancellor officially meets incoming VC Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi

The Chancellor of Uganda Christian University The Most Reverend Dr. Samuel Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu recently held his first official meeting with the incoming vice-chancellor Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi as they sought to discuss a way forward for the instituion.

The outgoing vice-chancellor Rev. Dr. John Senyonyi was also present at the meeting.

The newly appointed Vice-chancellor of Uganda Christian University, Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi recently stated plans to reduce the burden of tuition on the parents and students.

He disclosed that this will be achieved by introducing income-generating enterprises for the University to depend on rather than relying on the tuition of the students.

These will include assets, start-up projects from the 800 staff serving to benefit the community, and also mobilize all local churches countrywide to support the university’s spiritual and development programs of research and book writing to generate some funds.

He will officially start work on 1st September later this year
