SAD: Sheikh Muzaata confirmed dead
The Muslim community in Uganda is currently mourning the death of Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata, the Public Relations Officer for the Kibuli Muslim sect.
According to reports, Muzaata’s body is currently at the International Hospital Kampala (IHK) where he was previously being treated for the last two weeks.

The news has sent shockwaves among members of the public.
“I am still lost for words. It is difficult to come to terms with the fact that you are no longer in our midst, but that is life, From Allah (SWT) we return,” NUP Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi mentioned as he eulogised the deceased.
According to the Uganda Radio Network, on Wednesday, the Supreme Mufti, Sheikh Siliman Kasule Ndirangwa said that Muzaata was in stable condition and that he would soon be discharged. Ndirangwa also dismissed reports that the vocal cleric was poisoned.

He also reported that Muzaata was suffering from normal sickness and that he had tested negative for COVID-19.
