SAD: Makerere third year law student dies
The Makerere University Law fraternity is currently mourning the death of Kafuuma George, a student that was in the third year of the program.
According to his roommate, the former Nsibirwa hall resident was battling sickle cell anaemia was unable to recover after experiencing an attack yesterday.
“Just received news of the sudden death of Kafuuma George 3rd year law student. My roommate. He has been nursing sickle cell anaemia. Today he got an attack as they moved to the hospital he was unable to make it,” his roommate at Nsibirwa hall mentioned as he broke the news.
Many have eulogised George as a committed and dedicated individual who loved God.
“George Kafuuma fought a good fight, he ran the race marked out for him. We grieve because we will miss him for a while but celebrate that away in the body is to present with the Lord. We thank God for the time George was with us in the ministry,” The SON initiative stated.
Burial arrangements are already underway and he will be laid to rest today.
