SAD: Former UCU volleyball star passes on

Campus Cam has learned of the unfortunate news of the death of Naboth Ahurira Rwesherengwe, a former student at Uganda Christian University who passed away yesterday.

According to reports, the late Naboth died of throat cancer.

“Very sad day for me. I identified the late Naboth Ahurira Rwesherengwe in seroma Christian high school and trained, mentored, and guided him in the game of volleyball and life. Now, he is no more, he was my boy. Rest in peace Naboth. May his soul rest in peace,” a friend identified as Michael Okiror eulogized.

The late Naboth went to Mbarara Municipal School for his primary, Seroma Christian High School for secondary before he joined UCU where he played Volleyball and football for the University team around 2012-2013.

At the time of his death, Naboth was playing for Sport-S Volleyball Club in Kampala.
