Yesterday night, the Uganda Police made a sudden operation and arrested revelers at Najjera based Bar and restaurant La-venti and bars around the city center for violating the Ministry of Health guidelines on the fight against COVID-19.

According to a reliable source, the arrested revelers have been given the option of either going into institutional quarantine for two weeks at their own cost or go to jail for three months.

Most of the partygoers who escaped arrests are nursing injuries.

Over 22 slept in cells whereas several others scampered-injuring themselves while others lost their wigs in the process of running away from police.

Some of those arrested are notorius campus slay queens and Kings that had previously dominated bars before the closure of the semester.

According to reliable reports, one pleasure seeker who tried to escape arrest is admitted at Norvick with broken ribs waiting to be picked up by police after recovery.

Arrests were also made from Atmosphere Lounge and Cask Lounge.

President Museveni recently loosened COVID-19 restrictions by extending curfew to 9 pm but bars aren’t yet allowed to operate.
