PHOTOS: Kyambogo University’s multi-million main gate finally completed
Kyambogo University has finished the construction of its modern main gate, a project that kicked off earlier this year.
“Today we received our newly constructed gate from the contractor. The Vice-Chancellor, while receiving the gate thanked the government for allocating funds for capital development,” the institution tweeted.

The new gate, unlike the former, has two separate paths, one for entry, and another for the exit.
It isn’t yet clear whether the institution will install pay toll machines as is the case at Makerere University.
There have been a number of renovations taking place on campus recently, for example, East-end multi-purpose playground, correction of the Kulubya hall water and drainage system, and road networks around the University.
