Mubs Continuing Government Students Vow To Strike Over New Functional Fees

The administration Nakawa based Makerere University Business School and it’s affiliate campuses pinned up notices that dictated that all Government sponsored students would have pay functional fees throughout their stay at the institution.

This is contrary to precedence because Government sponsored students only pay once upon joining in their first year.

This terrifying news has been received with great hostility and unrest by the student fraternity.

“The figures may look little, infact less than 50,000ugx but we are broke. If they can’t remove it, we shall strike,” Enock a BBA second year student at Mubs Main campus told our reporter.

Student representatives that preferred anonymity have reliably informed Campus Cam snoops that this policy is to be declined with backing from the Student Guild and if not attended to, they have vowed to strike.

We shall keep you posted about this developing story.
