MUBS Chief Fresher aspirant seeks votes by cleaning toilets in Campus
When it is time for elections, it is time to impress. Just like any other leaders worldwide, the MUBS Chief Fresher aspirants have started seeking for votes in the most expected ways.
Our snoops landed on one of the Chief Fresher aspirant a one, Joseph Bagumirabingi a student pursuing a Bachelors degree in Leadership and Governance at the Nakawa based University with a team of other students scrubbing toilets.
When asked why he had opted to clean the toilets, he told our snoops that, “Our concerns need to be addressed with action and words, so I decided to set an example of what I intend to accomplish.” Agitated the bold politician.
Our concerns need to be addressed with action and words, so I decided to set an example of what I intend to accomplish – MUBS Chief Fresher aspirant Joseph Bagumirabingi
We further engaged the students who responded with mixed reactions.
“Those are just tricks, even the current guild president did that during his campaigns.” Stated Brian a third year BBA student.
Whereas Nabila a student of BCOM year one said, “The washrooms were dirty exposing us to a risk of UTIs, so I am happy our leaders are concerned about our health.”
The race for the MUBS Chief Fresher is so tight that one wouldn’t win without employing such initiatives.
We shall keep you posted as the elections transpire.
