Minister for Presidency loses only child, a fresh graduate from Makerere University
Hon. Esther Mbayo, the Minister for the Presidency is currently mourning the death of her only child, Ian Mawanda, who recently graduated from Makerere University.

Esther Mbayo is also the Woman Member of Parliament for Luuka district.
According to reports, the 26-year-old Ian passed away on Sunday morning, after feeling unwell following a gym session he had on Saturday.
He was taken to hospital but unfortunately passed away.
A postmortem report concluded that he succumbed to heart complications resulting from several gym sessions.
