In a bid to promote the right to Education, it should be cheap and affordable for everyone to enjoy this right but such unfair and high bank charges are a hindrance to many students and some have been stopped from doing examS for defaulting on 500/= of the bank charges.” He said.
Charges are supposed to be incurred by bank accountant holders not we students. Why are banks conniving with learning institutions to flees students? – MAK Guild Speaker Ezra Byakutangaza questioned.
The MAK Guild Speaker is demanding for the scrapping of bank charges because it’s only in Uganda where learning institutions are charging Bank charges on School fees in East Africa.
In the petition, Ezra also questions the ever fluctuating prices of these bank charges and seeks that they should be checked.
