MAK Fanalist Majegere Bisatu to unseat Mwanga Kivumbi in Butambala in 2021 elections
Makerere University finalist Majegere Bisatu has expressed his interest in taking part in the forthcoming 2021 General election for the position of member of parliament Butambala constituency.
The 26-year-old activist is a fourth-year Civil and Environmental Engineering student at the oldest University in Uganda. He declared his leadership intentions in an exclusive interview with our reporter.
“Well, I would wish to officially announce that I have hoped of standing as the area Member of Parliament for Batambala Constituency. Being a Humanitarian and Philanthropist, we have reached out deeply to the area of Butambala and we realized that there is still need to be addressed especially when it comes to land grabbing, Education, and areas of Health,” he stated.
He further noted that is has come to act rather than talk and he believes people of Butambala will trust him with their votes and he will reward them with better services which they deserve.
Majegeree has served in many leadership posts since his childhood and currently is the youth leader of Nkobazambogo Cultural group championing interests of the youth at the Ivory Tower.
