Kyambogo University Student to be laid to rest after succumbing to brain injury
Kyambogo University’s Auma Molly Peace has been pursuing a Bachelor in Agricultural Sciences.
She passed on at Mulago National Referral Hospital at 12:04 AM on Monday 2nd September after succumbing to brain damage.
Auma will be laid to rest in Omuko village, Okere Parish in Otuke District on a date yet to be communicated.
Sources have informed this website that she has left behind a 2 Weeks old baby whose father disappeared soon after birth something that led to Auma’s distress hence collapsing and hitting her head hard on the wall. It was after this that she sustained head injuries that led to her death.
They further informed us that Auma was first admitted at a health centre in Lira, where upon several tests was recommended for transfer to Mulago National Referral Hospital where she eventually died.
Auma was set to graduate in December this year at Kyambogo University but fate wouldn’t let this happen. In the morning of Tuesday 3rd September, volunteers were moving around Campus collecting contributions and condolences that will be vital in assisting the 2 Weeks Old baby push through this hard time.
May her soul rest in peace
