Kyambogo University is currently reviewing Diploma and Certificate programs, with the aim of establishing whether or not they should be phased out, Campus Cam has learned.

The guild President Jonathan Tundulu revealed that he has been tasked by the Adhoc Committee on the review to seek students opinions pertaining the advantages, disadvantages, and challenges faced by the students.

He revealed that he is also seeking students opinion on whether the institution should do away with them or not.

In December 2019, Kyambogo University revealed that it was planning to scrap at least 47 diploma and certificate courses and transfer them to other tertiary institutions as part of the wider reform at the University.

The move is aimed at creating room for Bachelors and Masters students.

We shall keep you posted.
