“I don’t see it’s relevance” – John Katumba defends his lack of a manifesto

Independent candidate John Katumba has revealed that the reason he hasn’t yet released a manifesto to support his Presidential ambitions is that he believes it is not relevant.

While speaking to a URN reporter, Katumba argued that he is more interested in engaging the electorate to understand their concerns rather than making reference to a ‘book’ whose contents may not meet their needs.

He further promised that he will generate policies to help Ugandans during the course of the campaign after fully understanding their problems.

Katumba is the only candidate yet to release a manifesto.

He further affirmed that he isn’t a politician but rather a leader while seeking support to unseat the incumbent Yoweri Museveni in the January 2021 elections.
