The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically altered our way of life including traditional face to face learning.

Makerere University students and staff to receive laptops at subsidised costs

For universities to continue thriving during this period and in the future, it is important that we embrace ICT solutions that will enable remote learning (E-Learning).

In order to promote E-Learning during the COVID-19 lockdown and beyond, Makerere University has started engaging computer manufacturers on the possibility of obtaining affordable yet good quality laptops for students which can be paid off on a hire purchase basis/installments over an agreed period of time.

Therefore, the purpose of this communication is to obtain information on the number of Makerere University students interested in the student laptop scheme by submitting their responses through the short questionnaire/survey tool by clicking the link below.
