Big Ideas is an early-stage, student-led, innovation contest that connects students with the mentorship, training, and resources needed to successfully conceptualize, deploy, and scale their social ventures.

Big Ideas contest is open to undergraduate and graduate students from 12 different Universities, the Contest awards up to $300,000 in prizes annually.

The Contest is hosted by the ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) at Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) and is open to all enrolled graduate and undergraduate students at Makerere.

Big Ideas contest is open to undergraduate and graduate students from 12 different Universities, the Contest awards up to $300,000 in prizes annually.

Past winners include Pedal Tap, Moyo Medical, Mama Ope from Makerere University and many more!
