73% failure recorded in Makerere’s Law pre-entry exam
At least 861 students who sat for the Makerere University Bachelor of Laws pre-entry exam have failed to attain the 50% pass mark required to enable them to join the prestigious program.
Only 305 (27%) out of 1,166 A-level students who sat for the exam attained the pass mark.
The best student, Ms Alice Namale Grace from Mengo Senior School scored 76%. She was followed by Annie Maria Adkini from St Mary’s College Namagunga who scored 71%.
“The candidates who scored 50 per cent and above passed the examinations and have been recommended by the pre-entry and mature age committee to the university admission committee for consideration,” the Makerere University Academic Registrar Alfred Masikye said.
Congratulations to all the successful candidates.
